1920's Wedding Inspiration

In 1919, the 18^Th amendment was passed which made the sale of alcohol illegal in the United States. As a result, alcohol was smuggled in via Canada and the Caribbean. The “Noble Experiment” as it was called, led to barkeeps crafting creative cocktails to mask the strong taste of the alcohols that were available. Many used sweeteners and fruit juices to improve the taste of the drinks.
