When planning all the exciting details for your special day, the vendors you choose play a vital role. These are the magical people who do all the work for you so you can enjoy the beauty and essence of getting married! After all, your vendors are technically guests and part of your special day too. So how do you know if you’re picking the right vendors? Here are some of my tips for picking the best of the best:
1. Listen to your wedding coordinator! They will want the very best for you and will only recommend the top fitting vendor options for your special day. They have worked personally with vendors and seen them in action. They know what they’re truly like first hand.
2. Meet with your vendors face to face. It’s always great to see if your vendor is the right fit on a personal level. Don’t be afraid to take pictures of your favorite floral arrangements to your florist, or a list of your favorite bands to the DJ. You want them to know exactly what you want, so they can take extra care of you on your big day. Plus, the better you know each other will feel like having more friends celebrating your big day!
3. It’s better when your vendor knows your venue. Bonus points if the vendor has worked at your ceremony or reception venue and already knows where/how to setup, the staff members, and overall best logistics for your wedding!
4. Do your research! Check out your vendors’ reviews online. Make sure they’re professionally reliable, and have no history of letting people down. Positive reviews from real brides and grooms are always the best!
5. Trust your gut. Overall, the most important thing to remember is that these people will not only be there on your wedding day, they will play a major role in making it great! If you bond with them and they understand your plans, you’re on the right path. You want to make sure you hire the best, professional, understanding and reliable vendors for your perfect day.
