There is something so special about getting married surrounded by a soft ocean breeze with your feet buried in the warm sand. Having grown up by the ocean, I’ve always loved being at the beach. And now, living and working near the water, I feel extremely comfortable working in a beach setting and I always love when my clients want to get married in the sand.

One of the best parts about having a beach ceremony is (obviously) the oceanic backdrop. When you decide to get married on the beach, you can’t help but feel connected to the ocean and nature. Use that connection in your ceremony design. With an outdoor wedding – and a beach wedding especially – it is extremely important to give your guests notice about what to expect. No one wants to be stuck in heels when having to walk through the sand. A ceremony in the sand is bound to be fun and romantic, pulling from the inspiration from the surrounding area.
