Anyone who knows me knows I love dogs. I love dogs so much I had my fur babies at my wedding. They are such important parts of my husband’s and my life; it wouldn’t have been the same without them there!

Whenever I get lucky enough to have a bride and groom who love their dogs as much as I do, I always suggest including them in the wedding. Some are reluctant at first, and I often get asked, what if they act out, or bark or do something they shouldn’t? My response is always — these are the most memorable moments; they are real and authentic. Just like when the flower girl or ring bearer decide to do something completely unrehearsed, it is always the cutest moment and your guests enjoy the unexpected!

Having your pet a part of your wedding adds personality and creates a fun “talk about.” These are the moments that make a wedding yours, and it’s important to go with your gut. If you want your furry friend walking down the isle, or even with you when you say “I Do,” you have my support!
