This wedding was an absolute pleasure to be a part of! Megan and Sammy not only have a deep love for one another; they also have a deep appreciation and love for their family and friends. These meaningful relationships were consciously considered in the planning process and in the elements of the décor.
The ceremony, which took place under a gorgeous bamboo arbor on the beach in Malibu, included incredibly touching moments. Megan and Sammy “connected” with their guests by taking a moment to make eye contact with their friends and family, who were seated on straw yoga mats on the sand. The wedding party had each prepared hand written notes of encouragement and well wishes for the Bride and Groom which were placed in a charming wooden box during the ceremony. The box was then sealed and will be opened by the couple on their 5th Wedding Anniversary!
The reception was inspired a midsummer’s night dream and the details reflected Megan & Sammy’s hard work and gratitude towards their guests. From a photo of each guest placed at their seat with a sweet handwritten note on the back from the couple, to hundreds of handmade paper cranes in shades of green, orange, and gold – the reception was magical! The dance floor was the focal point as Megan and Sammy are true performers. He is a Hollywood stuntman and she, an actress and professionally trainer dancer. They made their grand entrance with the wedding party in a musical inspired dance number, followed by performances by friends and family. Other fun touches included a “build your own” cupcake bar and a s’mores bar next to the fire pit. After a wonderful night filled with dancing, laughter, and love, the couple was sent-off with sparklers that lit up the night sky! Cheers! XO
