After the ceremony comes the party! And there can’t be a party without good friends and good food. A table setting is an important element and shouldn’t be over-looked when it comes to your beautiful day, and it can make a huge difference for you and your guests if it is done right and well.

It’s important to make sure your tables are not too busy. With plates, silverware, flowers, and candles, sometimes tables can look too cluttered and can distract from other important aspects of the reception.
Creating a lovely, impeccable place setting will greet your guests the right way. Adding personalized touches such as take-home favors or personalized menus is always a good idea.
Allow your table linens and plates to be cohesive, and do not put flower arrangements at eye level with the guests!
Remember not to overdo the lighting on the table. A more subtle, romantically dim lit table can really set the mood.
Your guests most likely will not be sitting the entire reception, but they will be spending a significant portion of their night here. Create a space where you can all sit back and enjoy!
XO, Nicole
