It is always a fun and rewarding experience when the wedding I am planning is for a friend. It was truly special to help my dear friend, (and wedding photography superstar) Carissa Woo, plan her wedding! As she proclaims on her website, Carissa is “in love with love” and a hopeless romantic, and these personality traits were extremely evident in the choices we made to design her big day.
What I loved most about planning this particular wedding was Carissa’s enthusiasm as well as her love for bold colors and accents. From hot pinks to bright purple, the colors incorporated into her design reflected the happy vibe that defined the wedding day – which is reflected in the photos!
Studio 1342 was the perfect venue for Carissa’s personality and her vision of her wedding day. It is romantic, unique, and a little edgy. The gorgeous gardens were the backdrop for the ceremony, while the eclectic industrial loft set the tone for the reception. It was a night to remember filled with love, laughter, and amazing memories!
